Oklahoma Children's Hospital

PICU Renovation

The renovated Pediatric Intensive Care Unit consists of 34 new beds on the 6th floor of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. Demolition of 31,000 SF of existing space made way for the new PICU unit and construction occurred over multiple phases. The work was constructed while maintaining full-service operations elsewhere in the hospital and was located between an active 7th-floor NICU and 5th-floor Mother Baby Unit. The newly renovated PICU provides state-of-the-art care for seriously ill and injured children up to 18 years of age. Currently, this is the most modern and technologically advanced PICU in the state of Oklahoma. 2017 AGC Build Oklahoma Award Recipient
