Fort Leonard Wood

Hospital Replacement

JE Dunn is currently constructing the new Fort Leonard Wood Hospital. When complete, the project will feature a 235,376 SF hospital; a 193,332 SF medical clinic; a 20,459 SF central utility plant; a five-bay ambulance garage; and supporting facilities. The existing hospital will be demolished. The project team has embraced a formal partnering approach to project execution; the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in partnership with the Defense Health Agency, employed Collaborative Analytics to further aid and document the results of successful collaboration. As a testament to the team’s efforts, in 2022, they were awarded the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Kansas City District Project Delivery Team of the Year award.
