Washington County Charles D Cameron Building

Seismic Retrofit

Project Highlights

Our team modernized the 30-year-old building while maintaining ongoing County operations. The 120,750 square foot seismic retrofit was essential in preparing the building for a Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake. This phased renovation included significant mitigation work to eliminate water intrusion into the basement, as well as upgrades to critical building systems including mechanical, lighting and security. These investments created a safe and energy-efficient structure for the County.
