JE Dunn completed the Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building for the University of Colorado Boulder. This 331,000 SF project is a five-story university flex lab and academic building for biochemistry and engineering programs. It features highly efficient and flexible labs designed with the latest technology, all built around a concept of interdisciplinary research and collaboration. This research and teaching facility support the long-term growth of CUโs engineering, biochemistry and systems biotechnology efforts. This building also has an educational component, including an auditorium, seminar rooms, classrooms, computer rooms, and teaching labs. Other building amenities include a gallery, cafรฉ, and conference rooms organized around an interior โmain streetโ concept.
