The Texas A&M University Galveston Student Housing project is comprised of two three-story residence hall buildings, associated parking, along with two remote parking lots totalling 169,264 square feet. The student housing consists of two wood-framed dormitory style residence halls clad in materials to match the existing campus architecture. The buildings provide 144 units of student accomodations with two sleep areas, a bathroom, and entry area. Additional units include space for community advisors and residence directors. Support space and amenities in both facilities include a reception/office area, laundry rooms as well as study and lounge areas. The project was built according to LEED Silver guidelines.
