In February, Midwest teams participated in the Red Dress Challenge to help raise money for the American Heart Association (AHA). The University of Kansas Hospital Indian Creek project raised $815, with Wes Shourds voted on to wear a red dress at the JSA. During a jobsite barbecue, Jim Huckleberry donned a red dress to also support the fundraiser. The Omaha office also rocked the Red Dress Challenge and its local AHA office is to benefit. The Bergan team raised $7,085. On March 7, there were nine smiling superintendents at the Bergan’s safety meeting, proudly displaying their red dresses. The Omaha AHA representatives were there to accept the gigantic check and to thank all of those who supported the cause. Over 7,000 kudos go out to the Bergan project team, its fantastic trade partners, and all the folks within the hospital who supported this great cause. JE Dunn is now the leading fundraising team for this year’s Omaha Heart Walk. Truly inspiring!
