Dunn Footprint

JE Dunn places great value on green building and sustainability as a general construction practice. Over the past few years, we have required all projects to implement sustainable construction practices into their projects. The goal is to hold ourselves accountable and see what we are (and aren’t) doing to help make our side of the industry as green as possible. We’ve prided ourselves and built our reputation on doing quality work, but making a positive impact on the environment is also one of our core values.

JE Dunn currently has over $10.5 billion in sustainable and LEED designed construction, over 370 LEED AP’s and LEED Green Associates, and is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) at both national and local levels. We believe so strongly in helping our environment that we added ‘Sustainability’ to our core list of company values. We also have a National Sustainable Construction Manager who helps oversee things like LEED training, LEED exams, marketing/proposals for upcoming green or LEED projects, and coordination and assistance on LEED projects, just to name a few. Our efforts have helped land us at No. 24 in the Engineering News-Record’s ‘Top 100 Green Contractors’ list. We’ve even had the privilege to work on projects for very green-minded clients like the NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) and The Rocky Mountain Institute, which both achieved LEED Platinum on their buildings.
