Stapleton Medical Office Building
Denver, Colorado
The Stapleton Medical Office Building was a core and shell project. At 47,715 SF and 2-stories, the structure featured a steel frame with masonry and aluminum storefront skin. Lobby finishes included carpet, tile, wood paneling and ceiling clouds. The structure was designed with an open floor plate for optimum tenant adaptability.
The project was designed and built utilizing green building practices. The building achieved LEED Gold certification for the core and shell. Green efforts included diverting construction waste to recycling centers and utilizing materials with at least 20% recycled content. Design features included water efficient landscaping and utilized low-emitting materials. This project serves as a model for buildings and building practices for Forest City, Colorado.
