This project is a 168,439 SF, 8-story, 155-bed patient tower vertical expansion. It also features a first and ground floor 36,252 SF remodel to the existing building and a 115 foot long connector bridge from the new tower to an existing tower. When completed in summer 2009 the new patient tower will feature: the latest medical technology and patient conveniences; patient/family suites on each floor; a renovation of the Surgical Suite with new operating rooms dedicated to orthopedics, neurosurgery and vascular surgery; four separate intensive care units each with a different focus; and five specialty care centers including orthopedics and neuroscience, a joint replacement center, a spine center and a cardiovascular center.
