Legends Theatre at Village West ushers in a new era of theatre design and construction. Completed in 12 months, this 14-screen multiplex theatre showcases a full-height curtainwall window entrance with structural steel arch and canopy. As visitors enter this airy L-shaped building, they are greeted by a 4-story open front lobby with Terrazzo flooring, grand staircase, wall drapes, glass rails and bronze mesh panels. An open ticket booth and concession stand allows easy access throughout this first and main level.
Designed as a focal point to this theatre, the main auditorium features a 635-seat screening room, considered by many to be one of the largest seating capacities for a single theatre in the United States. With a 40' screen and 42 surround speakers, this main attraction combines the functionality of a large theatre with the understated elegance of an old Hollywood attraction.
The upper balcony offers visitors reclining seats and easy access to the nearby VIP bar and lounge located on the second level of the lobby. It is from this viewpoint that visitors are granted an elevated view of the lobby.
Also showcased are several custom-designed murals located throughout the corridors, each featuring a classic movie or theme.
