New 38,100 SF building including an Aquatics Center/Family Natatorium, a Wellness Fitness Center, Child Watch/Day Care Center, Multi-purpose Gym, Youth/Teen Center, Gymnasium, Locker Rooms, and Administrative Area.
Unique features
- Built with precast concrete walls and insulation was cast into (sandwiched) in the precast panel. This provided a great R-value for the building and helps with the YMCA operating costs.
- Glass window wall separates the Lobby area from the pool, making the pool visible from the lobby for visitors to watch.
- 2-story water slide.
- Elevated running track circles the fitness center.
- Lobby area floor is a stain concrete pattern, giving an easy care floor with a unique and striking appearance.
- Barrel Roof design, used structural steel on the gym and fitness center sections of the facility, and used glum-lam timber beams with a wood decking on the center core of the building which includes the pool area.
