Iron County Critical Access Hospital
Pilot Knob, Missouri
In 2006, JE Dunn completed a new critical access replacement hospital for Iron County in Pilot Knob, Missouri. This rural hospital project was financed by U.S.D.A. It is 36,000 SF featuring a steel structure on concrete foundations with a masonry, metal panel, and cased window skinwall. This project included the following: emergency, triage, rehabilitation, surgery, treatment/patient rooms, cafeteria, waiting room and administration space. The construction process for this project was a true success as it came in under budget and on-time. Since the hospital opened, it has increased revenue with less staff due to the functionality and efficiency of the new building. |
