170,000 SF renovation of 1926 War Memorial and Museum. The Memorial Tower rises 217 feet above the surrounding observation deck and 268 feet above the north lawn. The cylindrical tower is 36 feet in diameter at its base and 28 feet in diameter at the top observation platform. Two buildings on the observation deck house Memory Hall and Exhibition Hall.

  • Restoration of the 48-foot high and 488-long Great Frieze, which is carved into the limestone of the north wall

  • Restoration of the two existing fountains and added a new fountain with waterfalls
  • Removal and restoration of Observation Deck without disturbing the museum buildings, tower, frieze wall sphinxes and planters
  • Adaptive reuse of space below building into a museum space
