St. Mary's Cathedral
Colorado Springs, Colorado
28,000 SF renovation of St. Mary's Cathedral, originally built in 1898. Project upgrades to the mechanical and electrical systems, the creation of a new gathering plaza, entryway, and the addition of an elevator. Cathedral work included decorative painting of the ceiling and walls, installation of state-of-the-art lighting and acoustical systems, new floor and seating, and a distinctive baptismal font designed and located closer to the main entrance of the cathedral.

- There was a desire to balance maintaining the historic character of the building while modernizing it to reflect the changing ways of worship.
