Fed-Ex Ground Sorting Facility

The Colorado Springs FedEx Ground Sorting Facility is a 54,000 sq. ft facility with 50,000 sq. ft. of open floor space and 4,000 sq. ft. of office space. The structure is a pre-engineered metal building structurally integrated with masonry walls. There are 16 dock doors with a sloping trailer apron for loading and off-loading of trailers. The facility also has 8 drive in doors to accommodate vans, trucks and trailers. The structure was designed and built with the intent to ease construction of a future 12,000 sq. ft expansion area.
