31,000 SF addition consisted of a new lobby, gift shop, business office, convention reservation center, and a grand ballroom. The renovation scope provided new kitchen, restaurant lounge, and junior ballroom.
Unique Features:
This project presented difficult structural aspects that had to be identified, studied, and overcome. The structural frame of the building was not built as originally drawn, and due to an inadequate facility audit, the renovation and addition plans were not constructable. Our team worked with the design team to re-scope the project and completed an extensive value-engineering exercise to keep the project within the budget. |
