The USPS Processing and Distribution Center is a 590,000 SF remodel and seismic upgrade of the existing facility in Seattle, Washington.
Unique features:
- Complete seismic, roof and mechanical replacement.
- Other project elements included a new off-ramp, street improvements, secure entries, and signal lighting installation.
- Since the site is adjacent to the Duamish Waterway, it required interaction with various federal agencies to ensure protection of fish habitat.
- Worked in and around a critical postal facility that was operational 24/7.
