Berry College Dormitories
Mount Berry, Georgia
This project, for repeat client Berry College, is to be two, four-story, LEED Silver dormitories with a combined square footage of 105,000 SF. The units are a combination of single and double occupancy with a total of 349 beds. Both buildings will house gang bathrooms, a laundry, a kitchen, a lounge, and study rooms on each floor. The two main common rooms are to be high-end finishes with indoor/outdoor fireplaces, wood ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, slate floors, bamboo flooring, and carpet tile through out. Each also features a two bedroom apartment in the basement, separate from the students. They are concrete structures with stone and brick veneer skin.
