Fitzgibbon Hospital

Fitzgibbon Memorial Hospital is a long-term, repeat, and very valued client of JE Dunn Construction. In 1991, JE Dunn constructed a 63,370 SF, 55-bed replacement hospital serving extensive rural areas surrounding Marshall, Missouri. The new facility provided major technological upgrades and enhanced capabilities to serve a growing patient population that was previously traveling significant distances for quality healthcare.
In 2002, JE Dunn returned to Marshall and built a single-story, 6,711 SF addition to the existing hospital. Also in 2005, a single-story skilled nursing unit and a 2-story addition containing a physical therapy suite were completed. The project also included shell space for future accounting on the first floor. This is a wood-framed building with concrete foundations and brick exterior facade.
JE Dunn is currently working on an addition that will feature 27,000 SF of new space and 13,000 remodeled SF, as well as an additional 83 parking stalls.
