Opportunity:
Job Summary: Manage overall direction and processes related to Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination on multiple / large projects as well as assisting Regional Management on improving overall program. Manage BIM program from pre-construction to project completion on assigned projects. Assist junior BIM Specialists in the development of project specific BIM plans, as well as staff assignments and over-sight of team members. Develop and train BIM personnel and operations staff on processes and procedures. Maintain positive working relationships with subcontractors, project team, and owners
Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities
- Assist Regional Management in staffing and management of BIM team
- Assist Regional Management in refinement of processes and procedures
- Work with Project Management to develop BIM strategy and scope for specific project
- Assist BIM Specialists / Preconstruction to develop project budgets
- Provide any models or documents necessary to complete scope as determined with PM
- Provide assistance to Subcontractors in converting from 2D to 3D
- Provide assistance to design team to facilitate 3D coordination
- Oversee assembly of 3D content modeled by others and model any content not provided
- Provide or oversee model management for virtual mock-up exercise for quality assurance and quality control studies
- Provide or oversee model management for MEP coordination
- Provide or oversee model management for 4D Scheduling exercise
- Provide or oversee model management for clash detection and conflict identification and resolution
- Provide Preconstruction / Estimating support in doing quantity takeoff of designers BIM model
- Provide or oversee layout integration support to operations for self perform layout
- Manage model changes through updates and design changes
- Assist with business development / marketing with related material for presentations
- Display organizational and leadership skills necessary to complete or oversee multiple/complex projects and staff of personnel
Education / Experience
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) with preference for Architecture, Construction Science or related field
- Typically 8-10 years construction or related experience (2 years BIM related)
Skills / Competencies
- Core BIM software (Revit, NavisWorks, SketchUp, etc.)
- Word, Excel & Autocad
- Able to read drawings, specifications, building codes, and other technical product and material specifications
- Able to work well with cross-discipline teams
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of CMiC or equivalent integrated cost accounting systems
- Bid software experience

- LEED AP
