The Pearland Public Safety Building is a LEED project. The 2-story building consists of a detention facility, police department, municipal courts, bay sally port, and emergency operating center.
The parking lot has 721 spaces consisting of 354 secure, 331 public, and 36 additional fire station parking spaces. The front of the building includes a 3-foot-tall brick retaining wall surrounded by a reflecting pool. Also included on the site is an equipment yard that houses two new chillers and a 1000-watt natural gas generator.
