The Mitchell Dining Hall project involved demolition, renovation, and addition to an existing dining hall at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The primary finishing kitchen with new food service equipment was expanded on the dining level and the mezzanine floor was also extended. 25% of the service level kitchen and 50% of the dining level kitchen was renovated and included two new large restroom groups.
The dining hall feeds 4,500 cadets in 45 minutes, three meals a day, every week. This work is the 3rd phase of a 6-phase building renovation.
