Completed in 2008, the warehouse expansion project created an additional 230,368 SF of much needed space for storage and distribution at the Garmin campus in Olathe, Kansas. The building consisted of two floors: 187,146 SF on the main level, which housed the warehouse portion with loading docks, and 43,322 SF on the mezzanine level, which included office space, meeting rooms, and break rooms.
The slab on grade was specified to be Fmin 60. JE Dunn completed thirteen in-place mockups in the dock area of the warehouse to minimize issues during installation.
