Completed in 2008, the warehouse expansion project created additional much needed space for storage and distribution at the Garmin campus in Olathe, Kansas. The building consisted of two floors. The main level houses the warehouse portion with loading docks and the mezzanine level, which includes office space, meeting rooms, and break rooms.
To accommodate multi-ton equipment stored on 6-level racks, the slab on grade was specified to be Fmin 60. JE Dunn completed 13 in-place mockups in the dock area of the warehouse to minimize issues during installation.
