Dunn Project Solutions® (DPS) completed the Active Riparian Commensal Habitat (ARCH) for Chattahoochee High School. What was once a simple detention pond on a one-acre site was transformed into an outdoor learning environment for students.
The walkway stretches over 200 feet. Three different vegetative zones are planted with native wetland grasses and indigenous tree species. The location provides a nontraditional classroom setting from which studies such as environmental science, performing arts, speech and literature are taught.
