The Education Sciences Building is a rehabilitation of the Mineral Resources Research Center which is historically significant for its long association with the University of Minnesota.
In 2005, the University commissioned JE Dunn Construction to restore the building's historic facade and renovate the open industrial interior to include offices, research labs and meeting rooms for the College of Education and Human Development.
