Downtown Kansas City, Missouri has undergone a revitalization encompassing nine city blocks. The newly created Power & Light Entertainment District, named for the historic Power and Light building, has given life to a previously neglected and blighted area of downtown. Now home to entertainment venues, retail and dining experiences, the Power & Light District has given visitors and residents alike reason to come back downtown.
JE Dunn Construction played a large role in the revitalization efforts. Under nine separate contracts, construction was provide in areas ranging from historic renovation of the President Hotel to the construction of parking, streetscape and retail shell space.
