The Bank of America data center project involved a building addition to house additional power systems including UPS, battery, and switch-gear to meet the client's redundancy needs. Also included was a remodel to the existing generator facility to house one new generator.
All work was done while the existing data center was in operation. Site work was required for the new addition building including reconfiguration of total site drainage, relocation of incoming utility transformers, and reconfiguration of service traffic flow.
This project also included an additional upgrade of mechanical and electrical systems in the data center, including new chiller and cooling towers, new CRAC Units, upgrade of EPO system, and distribution of new power added.
