Bank of America data center project involved a new 17,000 SF building addition to house additional power systems including UPS, battery and switch-gear as required to meet the client's redundancy needs. Also included was an addition to the existing generator facility to house one new generator.
All work was done while the existing data center was in operation. Site work was required for the new building including reconfiguration of total site drainage, relocation of incoming utility transformers and reconfiguration of service traffic flow.
This project also included an additional upgrade of mechanical and electrical systems in the 50,000 SF data center, including new chiller and cooling towers, new CRAC Units, upgrade of EPO system and distribution of new power added.
