This project consisted of fast-track build out of an existing 2-story, 160,000 SF shell building to create a new data center for Sprint. The project was completed in three phases and also included associated sitework.
The first phase included build out of the central data room and was constructed on an accelerated 7-month schedule. The second and third phases were completed concurrently in 2002. The second phase was completed over an 11-month period and focused on increasing power to the first data room and build out of adjoining rooms. The third phase created a 65,000 SF data center for Yahoo Internet operations.
