The University of Kansas Multidisciplinary Research Building is a 4-story facility on the University of Kansas Lawrence Campus. The building is divided into three research floors and a mechanical central plant in the basement that supports potential future expansion of research facilities on the West Campus.
The first floor holds Class "100", Class "1,000", and Class "10,000" clean rooms. The second floor houses bioinformatics lab space. The third floor is dedicated to laboratory space (BSL-3, BSL-2+ and BSL-2 laboratories). Multiple chemistry lab types were constructed including pharmaceutical, analytical, bio-geo, medicinal, and biochemistry.
