JE Dunn Construction recently completed construction on a new 154,897 SF, three-story technology center on the Johnson County Community College campus. It is supported by a 50-car below-ground garage.
All of the classrooms in this new technology center facility are equipped to stream both audio and video of current class presentations over the Internet with copper and fiber optic wiring to each room and workstation. The building also supports wireless technology throughout to support classes such as continuing education and labs in computer applications and information technology, biotechnology and interactive media.
The technology center is connected to the college's Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art via a glass atrium.
