Northern Quest Hotel and Casino recently underwent a casino expansion receiving a new administration and back-of-house building, and a 10-story hotel tower.
The casino addition was approximately 52,000 SF and was located to the south of the existing casino. The expansion added approximately 15,000 SF of gaming floor and amenities. Main lobby escalators provide access to the second floor of the casino expansion which leads to a walkway connecting the 10-story, 281,703 SF hotel.
This project utilized Building Information Modeling (BIM) in severral areas including concrete, exterior skin coordination and MEP collision and clash detection.
