Barton County Memorial is a 57,683 SF, single-story, 22-bed critical access hospital consisting of physical, cardiac and occupational therapies, lab, radiology, surgery, inpatient rooms, emergency room and specialty clinic. The building's systems include kitchen equipment, fire protection, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and low voltage.
The owner, design team and construction team worked together in an integrated delivery process. The outcome of this teamwork concept and open communication was that the Owner was able to add a clinic expansion, among other alternates, without requiring additional financing.
