Barton County Memorial is a single-story, 22-bed critical access hospital consisting of physical, cardiac, and occupational therapies, lab, radiology, surgery, inpatient rooms, emergency room and specialty clinic. The building's systems include kitchen equipment, fire protection, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and low voltage.
The owner, design team, and construction team worked together in an integrated delivery process. This teamwork concept and open communication enabled the owner to add a clinic expansion, among other alternates, without requiring additional financing.
