The Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County originally opened in 1901 as the "Miner's Hospital". Over a century later, JE Dunn completed the latest renovation and addition to this nonprofit corporation. The project involved an Emergency addition and renovation.
The 3-story building is a structural steel and concrete system with a metal panel and EFIS exterior skin. The project was especially challenging because it required extensive demolition and renovation while the hospital continued uninterrupted operation.
