The Wells Fargo Home Mortgage campus covers 160 acres in West Des Moines, Iowa. The development represented a multi-year, multi-phased design and construction plan.
The project included three, 4-story office buildings, a central plant, and a centralized commons building that featured dining services and a fitness center. There is also a 2,968-space surface parking lot and a 4-level, 1,750-car above-ground, cast-in-place parking garage.
Examples of sustainable elements include low maintenance landscaping, ample use of daylighting and daylight harvesting, low VOC materials and a light-colored roof.
