JE Dunn Construction Begins Work at Regis UniversityPosted on: 03-JUL-07FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE For more information, contact: Danna Guffey (816) 391.2584 danna.guffey@jedunn.com DENVER (July, 2007) - JE Dunn Construction, a commercial general contractor headquartered in Denver, recently began renovation of the Science Building at Regis University in Denver. The $7.7 million project includes the complete interior renovation of the three-story Science Building, totaling 49,044 square feet.
Originally constructed in 1968, the Science Building renovation will include construction of new facilities for animal research, neurology, histology and physics on the first floor; biology (molecular human, general, and organismic) on the second floor; and chemistry (bio-chemical and organic) on the third floor. The project will include new electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems, and new casework and laboratory equipment. Additionally, the Lecture Hall will be remodeled and a new stair tower and elevator will be constructed.
"This renovation project will give Regis the capabilities to incorporate the most current technology in their teaching efforts by giving them the infrastructure to support it," said Mark Arnold, senior project manager for JE Dunn Construction.
The project is currently scheduled for completion January 2008. In addition to its current work with Regis University, JE Dunn Construction has also completed work for Colorado State University - Pueblo and University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. » Back to Press and News Archive |
