JE Dunn Construction Announces New Offices

Local company, JE Dunn Construction, announces the opening of their 20th office. JE Dunn is well known in the Kansas City market for some of the region's most notable building projects. Past work has ranged from small tenant improvement projects to entire corporate campuses, such as Sprint in Overland Park. JE Dunn recently built portions of the Power and Light District, the Nelson Museum's Bloch addition and the Federal Reserve Bank. Some of JE Dunn's current projects include the Kauffman Performing Arts Center and St. Luke's Hospital Wornall Campus.

Margaret Golden Bowker, Vice President of Marketing at JE Dunn, noted, "The Kansas City community doesn't realize the national orientation of this home town company." JE Dunn most recently set up shop in Oklahoma City and is working on several projects in the region, including Oklahoma Heart Hospital South Campus, University of Tulsa HA Chapman Stadium Addition and Remodel, and a New Aquatics Facility and Steam Chilled Water Plant at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. Other area offices include Des Moines, Topeka, Omaha, Springfield and Bentonville. The company also has a large team working in Sacramento on a $600 million project for Thunder Valley Resort and Casino and a $185 million project in Eloy, Arizona for the Corrections Corporation of America.

JE Dunn Midwest President, Jack Nix, attributes the company's growth to JE Dunn's high standards for quality and ethics. "JE Dunn provides preconstruction numbers and budget estimates based on experience. The company uses realistic projections, which lead to fewer budget problems at the end of the project. This develops long-lasting, trusted relationships that turn into repeat clients."

In addition to the company's wide variety of projects, and their ranking on Engineering News Records top 10 contractors in the country, JE Dunn has grown to be a nationally ranked construction company for casinos, health care, corrections, condos and education projects. JE Dunn's newest initiative, Dunn Project Solutions, specializes in tenant improvement projects under $3 million.
