The addition will be built in front of the existing hospital and connect via sky-bridge to the second and third floors of the existing building.
The Burn Center, not including the patient rooms, will receive a 20,000 square foot renovation. R. J. Griffin will replace all finishes in the core and completely renovate staff support space.
The 7,000 square foot lobby addition and renovation will create a three-story atrium main entrance at the front of the new tower.
To support the new tower, R. J. Griffin will construct a separate 7,000 square foot powerhouse and relocate the existing boilers, chillers, and main transformers to the new plant (along with adding more of the same) without shutting down any services to the hospital. » Back to Press and News Archive |
