Designed by Bennett, Wagner, and Grody Architects, the $7.7 million project included the complete interior renovation of the three-story building to create new facilities for animal research, neurology, histology and physics on the first floor; biology on the second floor; and chemistry on the third floor. The work also included mechanical, plumbing and electrical system upgrades, casework and the installation of new laboratory equipment. The project also involved remodeling the lecture hall attached to the second floor and the addition of a new stair tower and elevator. The project was completed last month just prior to the start of the University's spring semester.
