JE Dunn Construction continues to thrive as a family and employee-owned commercial contractor. Today, three generations of the Dunn family are actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the organization. The generational stability JE Dunn enjoys is further enhanced through leadership provided by a group of accomplished executives offering a broad depth of experience and expertise.
William H. Dunn Sr. - Chairman Emeritus
Mr. Dunn has been with JE Dunn Construction since 1946. He served as Chairman of the Board from 1974 until January 2000 when he became Chairman Emeritus. He continues to be active in the business, community affairs, speaking at many civic events and professional groups in the construction industry. Mr. Dunn is also on the Board of Directors for JE Dunn Construction Company and JE Dunn Construction Group.
Stephen D. Dunn - Chairman of the Board
Steve has been with JE Dunn Construction since 1975. In his current role as Chairman of the Board of both JE Dunn Construction Company and JE Dunn Construction Group, Steve leads and facilitates the deliberations of the Board and satisfaction of the Board's functions and responsibilities under its mandate.
Terrence P. Dunn - President and Chief Executive Officer
Terry has been with JE Dunn Construction since 1974. He is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of JE Dunn Construction Company. In this role, Terry provides leadership to position the company at the forefront of the industry, developing strategic plans to advance the company's mission and objectives. Terry is a member of the Board of Directors for the JE Dunn Construction Company and JE Dunn Construction Group.
William H. Dunn Jr. - Executive Vice President
Bill has been with JE Dunn Construction since 1975. Bill held major responsibilities for management of JE Dunn Construction Company's owned and rented equipment, and he assisted the company's logistics center. Currenty, Bill is responsible for targeted Business Development activities in the Midwest region. Bill is a member of the Board of Directors for the JE Dunn Construction Company and JE Dunn Construction Group.
Robert P. Dunn - Vice President - Community Affairs
Bob has been with JE Dunn since 1987. In 2000, he was named Vice President - Community Affairs. In this role, Bob provides direction as it relates to the Dunn Family Foundation and philanthropic activities of JE Dunn Construction Company. Bob is a member of the Board of Directors for the JE Dunn Construction Company and JE Dunn Construction Group.
Dirk Schafer - President - Midwest Region
Dirk has worked at JE Dunn for over 25 years and led the business operations of the Midwest Division, which produces over $1 billion in annual construction revenue. The Midwest Region has offices in Minneapolis, Omaha, Des Moines, Kansas City, Topeka and Springfield, Missouri. Dirk serves on the JE Dunn Construction Company Board.
Dan Kaufman - President - East Region
Dan joined RJ Griffin & Company in 1997 as a project engineer and was promoted to Atlanta South Division Manager in 2007. He became President of JE Dunn's East Region in 2010. The East Region has offices in Atlanta, Augusta, Charlotte, and Nashville and also encompasses Rives E. Worrell Company in Savannah . Dan serves on the JE Dunn Construction Company Board.
Steve Hamline - President - West Region
Steve joined JE Dunn Construction in 1979. The West Region has offices in Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Colorado Springs and Denver. Steve serves on the JE Dunn Construction Company Board.
Jim R. Miller - President - South Central Region
Jim joined JE Dunn Construction in 1981. The South Central Region has offices in Dallas, Austin, Oklahoma City and Houston. Jim serves on the JE Dunn Construction Company Board.
Casey Halsey - Executive Vice President - Chief Risk Officer
Casey joined JE Dunn in 1982. Casey is responsible for all legal and enterprise risk management matters for JE Dunn Construction Group. He is also President for the JE Dunn Vermont Assurance, LLC. Casey serves on the JE Dunn Construction Company Board.
Tom Whittaker - Executive Vice President - Chief Legal Officer
Tom joined JE Dunn in 1994. Tom is responsible for all legal matters of JE Dunn Construction Company including contracting, labor and employment, and government compliance. Tom serves on the JE Dunn Construction Company Board.
Gordon Lansford III - Executive Vice President - Chief Financial Officer
Gordon joined JE Dunn Construction in 1996. In his current role as Chief Financial Officer, Gordon manages the accounting function and financial reporting for JE Dunn Construction Group. Gordon serves on the JE Dunn Construction Company Board.
Greg Nook - Executive Vice President- Chief Marketing Officer
Greg joined JE Dunn Construction in 2004 after spending 28 years in the architectural profession. He coordinates strategic growth initiatives, marketing, business development and communication activities with JE Dunn staff throughout all offices. Greg serves on the JE Dunn Construction Company Board.
